Right-Fit Sport Fitness Wellness and Giant Steps Illinois (GSI) are joining forces to organize the 6th annual Burr Ridge 5K Run/Walk, which will take place on Saturday, June 12, 2010.
In our sixth year, this event has proven to be a quality race that attracts participants from all over the Chicagoland area. We expect this race to continue significant growth in the coming years. We hope to build on last year’s record turnout of over 400 runners. The race will be held in downtown Burr Ridge on the USATF certified running course. The Village of Burr Ridge serves more than 450 professional businesses, industries, organizations and governmental units in and around Burr Ridge. The Village is a high-quality suburban community who accommodates residents looking for a sense of privacy in a tranquil environment. Burr Ridge truly is “A Very Special Place.” Giant Steps Illinois was founded in 1997 by a group of parents and the Illinois General Assembly. GSI is a therapeutic day school that serves students and families living with autism. The individualized programs provide superior educational and therapeutic services that offer each child an opportunity to maximize his or her potential.
