Sheena Leedham

In the spring of 2006, Sheena Leedham earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education with a concentration in Recreation Administration. In the fall of 2006, Leedham returned to Edinboro University for her Master’s degree and Teacher’s Certification in Elementary Education.

Along with an internship at Nautilus Fitness and Racquetball Club in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she assisted in funding, structuring and implementing fitness programs for inner-city elementary schools, she implemented and facilitated therapeutic and educational activities for elementary students with moderate to severe mental health issues within a Partial Hospitalization Program at Bethesda Children’s Home in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

Leedham has continued to strengthen her ability in becoming an effective facilitator of program development and education as a site supervisor for a Summer Therapeutic Activities Program,
Camp Connections, in Crawford County during the summer of 2011. During her time as site supervisor, Sheena was responsible for the general oversight and operation of a new therapeutic camp for 45 children diagnosed with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and PDD.NOS. She supervised a staff of twenty people and was in charge of weekly staff meetings, scheduling, and maintaining an effective team. She was also required to communicate regularly with parents and uphold state and county regulations throughout the course of the program.

In addition to her professional endeavors, she competes as a Figure Athlete and is a member of the National Physique Committee.
“As an educator, facilitator of program development, and NPC figure competitor, it is my duty to exercise and exhaust all possibilities and avenues to best meet the needs of my students/clients, my staff, and myself.   Therefore, the opportunity to develop, administer, supervise and deliver quality programs at Right Fit is an exciting prospect that I feel qualified for and fully able to undertake.”
